There's no doubt this is a great product: excellent quality and flexibility to customise. What the website can't show you is that the tag is also very lightweight, but strong at the same time. The rings to attach it with are a bit heavier, but not excessively so. I bought this for a cat. I took out the small ring, so I could attach the larger one directly on his collar; essentially I tried to minimise the "length" the tag dangles as much as possible. However, still it will e.g. hit his food bowl or kind of get a tiny bit in the way of some of his activities. Also, a cat is amazingly flexible, so he even manages to bite the tag when attached so closely to his neck / under his chin. This does damage the print a bit when he's more successful in biting the tag harder. But given how hard he can bite on such things at times, I'm still surprised how well it holds up to be honest. So I reckon, for a dog, this is a no-brainer and a great product. For a cat, it can work as well, but it might depend on the individual cat. I'm hoping he will condition a little bit more into it. We'll see. But I don't regret the purchase for sure!
